Is BTS V Aka Kim Taehyung Joining Squid Game Season 3?

The 2nd season of "The Squid's Game" will debut on December 26, 2024. The series quickly gained popularity, becoming the most popular just a week after its release on Netflix. The main star of the series, Lee Jung Jae, asked in an interview with BuzzFeed UK on January 3, 2024 about a possible joining of the cast of BTS. The actors seemed a little puzzled by this question. Lee Jung Jae replied with a smile: "Oh, I can't say anything about that."

This vague answer caused a storm of delight among the fans. They recalled the moments when BTS shared the spotlight with Lee Jung Jae, which sparked controversy about V's possible connections to a future role in the series. The opinions of the fans were divided, they were excitedly discussing whether the V squid game would appear in space.

BTS's V is currently serving in the South Korean Armed Forces and is expected to complete his service in 2025. Despite his military duties, he continued to compose new music. Most recently, he collaborated with Park Hye Shin along with the iconic Bing Crosby on a track called "Winter Ahead" and a reworked version of "White Christmas".

The second season of "Squid Game" was directed by Hwang Dong Hyuk, and it once again featured a stellar cast. Lee Jung Jae Sung played the role of Gi Hong, and Lee Byung Hong returned as a solo frontman. Wa ha Joong returned to the role of Hwang Joon Ho, and Gong Yoo starred as a recruiter, putting his charisma into the storyline.
