Seong Gi-hun, the actor of Squid Game's season 2, experiences a heartbreaking situation when his friend Jung-bae loses their battle in the intense competition. This event has left Gi-hun's foundation in a state of turmoil, and it also casts doubt on his emotional stability.
Lee provided insight into Gi-hun's difficulties during an interview. According to him, the protagonist is unaware of the true identity of Oh Young-il's character, The Front Man, during his emotional breakdown.
This crucial change makes Gi-hun completely unaware of his guilt and anger. Lee expressed his concern about the obstacles encountered by his character.
